    Tuned in to the benfica PSV game to check out noni madueke. Not the game to do that, looked uninterested and ineffective. Bruma looks twice the player since he came on.

    We should get this done IMO. Ive liked what I have seen of him and 2 geordies in the team would help Adam Armstrong with the language barrier.

    The reaction to longstaff seems very polarising. Some saying it would be very good for the rumoured fee and others saying it would be awful (including Newcastle fans in lots of comments who are keep for him to go)

    so I’m not sure

    Hopefully all this really means is that we are actually still looking for a “number 6” as well as a defender and this talk of one more signing is just that

    Think the Newcastle fans likely want him out because he refused to sign a contract, if I recall from last season. Look at how we turn on our players as soon as they want out - it's a natural reaction.

    Newcastle fans have been calling him **** for the last couple of years. He was hyped when he first came through but they quickly realised he wasn’t any good

    While I have long wanted the possibility of Longstaff and Smallbone in the same lineup, for my own amusement, I wouldn't pay money for it. Longstaff is not very good at football.
