Sounds like Tom Carroll is close to joining Ipswich. Had a couple of rough seasons with injuries, hopefully this works out for him if it goes through.
According to Lilywhite Rose, Reo Griffiths is on trial with Peterborough. Didn’t make a first team appearance for Lyon, would’ve likely done so for Spurs had he stayed.
Lewis Holtby has signed a 2 year contract with Holsten Kiel, joining from Blackburn. The tier two club is just up the road from Hamburg, getting toward Scandinavia.
Tom Huddlestone, aka @The Huddlefro , has rejoined Hull on a one year deal. Spent the whole of last season as a free agent. The best “pinger” of a ball you’ll likely see.
Man Utd played a behind-closed-doors friendly today against Burnley, winning 3-1 after going behind. The Clarets' goalscorer was one Aaron Lennon, who left his Turkish club by mutual consent in July and isn't officially on anyone's books. Looks like he may be rejoining Sean Dyche's side.
Ben Foster interviewing Danny Rose: Interesting answer about the worst trainer at Spurs, where he claims that there weren't any. Pochettino wouldn't allow it.
Lot of time wasting there. Should've expected it. I think he rather oversold it also. Not sure anyone will change their mind based on that.
The last question and answer where he speaks about South American players and their aggression, stepping on people’s toes etc, you just know Lamela was at the forefront of his mind there!
I took in the match at Plough Lane last night, nice new ground, George Marsh started for AFC Wimbledon and had a very tidy game, always available to receive the ball and used it well too, think he will be a very good player for them. Also saw Colin Calderwood going into the ground who I assume is scouting for someone. AFC were robbed last night much the better side all night but this act of petulance cost them as I am sure that the ref would have blown the whistle as soon as the free kick was taken, but the equaliser was scored in extra time added on for this!
Dear Harry Just in case you're bothered, THAT is how you become a true club legend. Kind Regards Spurs fans 1969-1986 (& beyond)
When I posted this he had 10 2k. Now 11.6k. Hope you're all encouraging your peers to follow. A bona fide legend by any criteria.
