I know we had our disagreements on the u23s last season but on Neil we are on the same page. He has a footballing brain better than his age and the way he plays and moves the ball quickly he isnt going to get into a physical battle (which is my concern about Hawkes for example where he has to hold the ball more). He looks to be our best passer of the ball and always wants to go forward. The sort of player I would build a team around.
Didn't say there way mate, it wasn't a pop at anyone ... ... just saying it's pointless in this context..

Thanks for these files RTB, its a far cry from "Shoot", and George (HTG) Taylor and his two side kicks on a Sunday afternoon.
Was at work last night and haven't joined in the after match debate. Thanks to RTB I've just watched the highlights and can only draw one conclusion.... How did we lose that game last night. Someone is going to be on the end of our finishing coming together, hope it's sooner rather than later.
It’s one man and his 6yr old lad in a tent for me, for 12 days. It is raining today, so you’re getting nee sympathy from me…
Look at the players we DIDN'T have who were regulars last season -Wyke, Power, Maguire, Leadbitter etc. Completely different team. We're using players this season we didn't use last.
The counter argument to that is of course that the manager, coaches and others see a lot more of a player than a bloke in the street. Their judgement seems to have been that he wasn't. Most reasonable folk would accept that.
You're brave. Had awful weather this week. Raining now so going to have to drag them somewhere today but tomorrow is beach regardless of weather.
Cant argue with that Ned, but I remember the previous manager also thought the same, check out last seasons pre season games and comments and remember what happened to him. It's all about opinions mate and I have followed the lads for 70 years off and on and seen enough of these well paid experts to know that they ain't infallible and that,s all part of footballs fascination of balancing hope against expectation, and making your own judgement.
Mannone and Higgins would be a champion end to the transfer business. Get them in and settled and enjoy one of the youngest squads in history (Mannone excluded).
