My father keeps trying to push the jab on me he's nearly 80 and gets all his information from television programming.

Went round yesterday with the kids and he told me that one of his friends who I have known since a child has just been struck down with bells palsy and can barely speak now .

I asked my dad what caused it and he told me it's just one of those things.

No point being a smart arse we both know it was just after his second jab and now he's got a wonky face.

My stepmother is old school she withdraws cash from the bank with her book and signs then pays bills at the post office each quarter , she only uses the landline.

Her bank have told her she has to have a contactless bank card her bills have to be direct debit and by 2025 all landlines will be terminated and she will be forced to use a cell phone.

It will effectively become mandatory to buy a cell phone and carry it at all times .
