Yep, so it has been known for about 18 months and still Biden et al made a complete **** up of the withdrawal.

Are the majority of Jocks this brain dead? Hardly anyone in Scotland voted SNP before 2015. It voted Labour from 1959 and Tory second.

In the 2021 local elections they voted for a one trick pony called the Scottish National Party. Nothing else matters except independence at any cost. They run Scotland incompetently with a failing education system, the worst performing part of the NHS in the UK and an out of control drug endemic.

Wee Jimmy McKrankie is currently looking at entering into an alliance with the Scottish Green Party, whose manifesto commitments include the four day week but without a pro rata cut in pay, a Citizen’s Income (universal benefits for all, working or not), a wealth tax on anyone worth more than a million and windfall taxes on successful businesses. Why does the useless mare want a tie-up with the Green Marxists? Because they are pro independence.

The SNP plus the Greens is a recipe for an independent Scotland that looks remarkably like Venezuela. Who would want to run a business in a country that votes to be governed by these cretins?

The First Anglo-Afghan War: On January 6th 1842, the British began the Retreat from Kabul with 18,500 men. Six days later, the only British survivor to arrive in Jalalabad was the surgeon Dr Brydon. Afghan tribesmen butchered the rest.

The Second Anglo-Afghan War thirty years later had similarly disastrous results.

The Fourth Afghan War 2001-2021 was the great folly of Dubya and Blair. We installed an elected leader, Hamid Karzai, now succeeded by Ashraf Ghani. It seems that the locals are not willing to fight or die to keep him in power.

Back in 1839, the opponents were from the Ghilzais tribe, which today makes up most of the Taliban foot soldiers. History repeats itself for those stupid enough not to learn from their mistakes.

 

The Angel Falls in Venezuela are wonderful. I thought the SNP and the Greens were already together?
