I'd argue there's a difference between dragging up a footballer's immature tweets from when he was a kid 10 years ago vs powerful men sexually assaulting minors and using their status to cover it up for decades. The former barely needs any attention at all and you can't really judge them against it. The latter is far more serious and needs proper investigation into it.

times have changed yet everyone is now judged under todays "whats right and wrong" rules. the list of celebs who used to sleep with underage girls in the 60's right up to the 80's is endless. john peel - bowie - bill wyman it was the done thing back then. back in the late 70's my girlfriends parents used to let me sleep in the same room as her when she was 15 (and i was 52) (that was a joke) and i cant believe it now but i allowed my daughter (now in her mid thirties) to have her boyfriend sleep over when she was only 15. and the same with my son. i remember not being totally happy with it but i was mostly off my head at the time and their parents and my wife said it was fine. today i dont think i would allow it. homosexuals were looked upon as perverts when i was a young lad and it was a criminal offence to be one. back then just like today it was normal and proper to despise criminals. its a funny one because when i saw 2 men kiss on tv films etc until quite recently it used to churn my stomach and i would have to look away its hard to embrace something that makes you feel sick. last month i enjoyed wayching ewan mcgregor in halston and im also enjoying white collar and the lead actor is a bent forker. and he's quite dishy maybe i'm on the turn?
cuomo's got far worse charges coming. federal recommendations were that covid patients going into nursing homes should be tested before admission. five democrat state governors wrote to nursing homes instructing them to accept covid patients without testing them first. the idea appears to have been to boost the number of deaths to discredit trump. the governors involved were cuomo, whitmer, wolfe, newsome, murphy. investigations will result in their imprisonment for mass murder. in new york state, a field hospital was set up for covid patients, and a military hospital ship was sent to new york city. both were pretty much ignored and treated scarcely any patients. cuomo's more than toast. he's ashes.
