Some of the renditions of this last season during our European campaign were fantastic.

Unfortunately I think that constantly increasing ticket prices will make this sort of thing even more rare than it already is.
You wouldn't believe some of the stories that I've heard from Arsenal fans.

Cheers for posting this, by the way.

  3. Spurs peeps,

How long have your fans been singing your particular rendition of this song? I would tell you how long ago we adopted it but I have absolutely no idea...

I believe the New Orleans Saints kicked it off.

Forgetting you lot for a second, can you imagine how cringeworthy it would be hearing yanks sing O when the Saints. Shudders

Yeah, I'm hoping the new stadium will bring the prices down a bit or atleast stop them increasing. The atmosphere this year has been a bit flat, even the NLD had quite long quiet spells.

We've been singing oh when the Spurs for years but there's still plenty of people that start clapping too early, me included.

Seeing as it's an American gospel song, I dont really get your point.

Personally, I think the modern trend is to sing it too slowly. I liked the "knock knock" start from the 80's and then it should be fast.

Or maybe we should have a little Bell ringing mixed in. Maybe Pompey could let us have theirs, as there is not much point ringing to All those empty seats.

I have to say, I MUCH prefer Southampton (and any of their songs) over Tottenham (and any of their songs).

No. He captained us to the FA Cup win, he and Sylvan Distin were immense.

Very true - one of the main reasons for our downfall financially.

One can only blame Peter Storrie, and i'm afraid good old 'Arry as well.

    Redknapp is a manager.
He shouldn't have been in charge of your finances, if that's what actually happened.

The two people that appear to be most responsible, in my opinion, are Storrie and Gaydamak.

Who do you think was telling Storrie which players to sign (at massive wages) then ? The sugar plum fairy?!

    So what?
If you can't afford them, then it's Storrie's job to say no.

If a kid asks their parents for a toy that they can't afford, but they buy it anyway, then whose fault is it?
