The one thing that has stood out is how Nuno has very high expectations. After we came back from 2 nil down v Chelsea he was interviewed and asked if he he was happy with what he saw. He replied that he liked the fighting spirit but he knew there was a lot that needed improving in the team. He said similar after the win v arsenal. Yesterday he was asked about the Wolves game and he responded by talking about the need to treat the ECL game on Thursday as the immediate priority. The work rate of the team suggested the players are trying to buy into this philosophy of looking to improve. Imo Dele, Bergwijn, Hoejberg, Dier, Sanchez and Reguilón showed huge improvements on their end of season performances. They looked like they were playing with pride yesterday. The other thing that has to be said is that the fans were truly fantastic yesterday. That must have helped the players too.
It's not personal, it's a load of **** and then just sticking his name on it. It's the opposite of the way people tweet about Chuck Norris.
I think there is a difference between hateful/spiteful comments and these type of jokes/comments. They are clearly light hearted. I do get that people need to be careful so they don't mess with someone's head but in all honesty I have said these types of things on here about myself and others and I don't think I have been classless or hurtful....bit twatish maybe
I still maintain that Ndombele would be superb in the Bundesliga as he's got the directness to his game that would fit in So, how about seeing if A German Team can chuck Zakaria & Thuram our way...?
More sources jumping on what @Allledleykingsmen said earlier about Nahitan Nandez. Some saying a loan with option again like the Gollini and Cuti deals.
I wasn't being pedantic, I was highlighting his unprofessionalism. The whole thing has been a ****show.
Harry Kane has been included in Tottenham's 25-man squad for their Europa Conference League play-off tie at Pacos de Ferreira on Thursday
Oh, banter. There was me thinking "Charlie Kane" was slang for some narcotic that turns the user into an utter moron,
Apparently we had a bid of €70m plus €20m in addons rejected by Inter for Martinez a few weeks back. Surprised they turned that down to be honest considering they're up **** creek financially and that would've likely been before they got the Chelsea bid for Lukaku too. Also mixed reports coming out about Milenkovic. One saying we'll only sign him if we can't get Tomiyasu. Another saying Fabio wants to do a double deal for him and Vlahovic worth around €80m.
So Vlahovic is off to Atleti ...who haven't made a bid ...while Fiorentina are weighing up our offer for Vlahovic & Milenkovic ...in spite us not making a bid either You get the feeling that we're headed towards a punchup between Romano, Schera, Longari et al?
