That's about right.....RR's Pearson can do no wrong..."the messiah that was gonna change everything" and we were told.."watch this space",
Well I'm watching :emoticon-0103-cool: and will be again tomorrow night...........as yet.IMO we have not improved and results tell us the same.
I'm worried that we are going in the same direction as when GJ left......which would be an utter shambles...
The haters will hark on regarding what was left behind, the zillion signings etc....but I'm not buying it...if it was that bad, Pearson wouldn't have taken the job, unless he's just after topping up his retirement fund...which is probably invested in Hargreaves Lansdown!! :emoticon-0127-lipss

If we can start to get some points we’ll be ok, but the longer it goes the worse it gets, NP said the same in his post match interview, it’s why the late goal against Blackpool in particular was so important, had we held out then we probably would have got a point against Boro too. We need a win .

Exactly Sparkey and the funds he had and then see what Nigel Pearson puts on the table.

Isn't going to happen, that ship has sailed.
The family silver Junior inherited has gone mate, he's left the cupboard bare.
And just look at the dross we have now.

    Junior sucked City dry.

Correct, much different times now, i was expecting a tough ride, but I was expecting NP to have made us more solid defensively by now. That he hasn’t is a disappointment.

As been shown many times that is not true, what was also shown, the players pulled from him starved our progress, with that in mind we didn't struggle the way we have since..pretty much kept us near the playoffs throughout!!! But according to some, the football was so much better v Blackpool which more than makes up for it <laugh>

This is one hell of an angling competition!!!!
I don’t think anyone wants Pearson out - not even those who didn’t want him in the first place. We ALL want him to succeed.
I for one however, won’t simply write every defeat off as acceptable because LJ was in charge 2 seasons ago.
All football clubs are facing belt-tightening not just ours. The landscape has changed due to Covid and that’s nothing to do with LJ or Ashton.
NP has been put in charge now and he’s making the decisions. He may not have as much to spend in the transfer market (I really don’t know how much he has - can anyone enlighten me??), but unlike LJ and Holden he will not have Ashton having a say in the background.

As Wiz has said many times ‘We’ve moved on, new regime, new manager etc’. No buts. Let’s do it.

The only problem I have with your comments is the bit where you say "we've moved on"...we've changed personnel, not sure if we've moved on much.....but it's relatively early days!!

I meant as a team RR, not as individuals, we need the be difficult to score against because we aren’t going to score many as we don’t have enough goal scorers. His first task should have been to shore up the defence.

An earlier response mentioned all the good players left when we should possibly have held on to them. I realize some of them left to try and improve their level of football but the others might just have been tired of the lack of progress at BCFC, and who would blame them?

In another month let’s hope we stop writing the same rubbish as today’s.
