    AFCON takes place Jan 6 - Feb 9

    Jan 8/9 - FA Cup third round
    Jan 15 - Brentford (H)
    Jan 22 - Crystal Palace (A)
    Feb 6 - AFCON final
    Feb 9 - Leicester (H)

    Depends when the individual countries get knocked out as well. So potentially won't be losing three players for very long.

    Hendo is injury prone - he has only finished 2 out of the last 6 seasons. And his injuries will get worse with age.

    Fabinho isn't injury prone but he does pick up niggles (which is normal).

    Apparently we had a behind closed doors game at Anfield against Villa at the weekend, don't know the details. Full game time for Henderson and Thiago with young Kaide Gordon, who's training with the first team, scoring. He's one to keep an eye on.

    Well given we had u18s and u23s play the weekend too this just shows the gaps in the senior squad.

    Good for us to get the game in for the main men. Good to keep others like konate and gomez ticking over too.
