Spurs have reached finals during Harry's time in the first team and have been involved in 2 title runs. On each occasion it was Harry that was found wanting so to blame Levy and the rest of the team implies that Harry takes no personal responsibility for those failures.

The silence from Spurs & City suggests to me that negotiations are ongoing.

I agree, I don’t think Kane will be disruptive whatsoever.

He’s soiled his Spurs reputation and will need to do a lot to rebuild it but I highly doubt he’s negatively affected any of the players.

Modric was brilliant after he didn’t get his Chelsea move. Mahrez was brilliant when he didn’t get his City move the season before he joined them. Zaha’s consistently been Palace’s best player despite asking to leave for the last three years. Ultimately when that window shuts a player knows they need to get their head down and graft to not only ensure they get back in/ keep their place at their current club but also continue to impress potential suitors for a following window where they could finally leave.

If Kane stays I’m confident he, Son, Lucas and co will lead the line well.

Yes, I agree he has but this is a different ball game Kane is in and his team have advised him badly but I am loath to worry that he has not tweeted , he has been the best striker this club has had since Greaves , him and others in the team have been let down badly by the board and Enic , they are the people who should be taking the stick

We don't have to worry about Kane not performing, I am sure he would try his best but in any case Nuno would not pick him unless he was.
It appears that Nuno values the team and togetherness above all else as did Pochettino in the first half of his time with us. That's a valuable trait at a team like Spurs.

Whatever he puts on Twitter will open him up to abuse. He would be insane to engage in a public conversation imo.

Not sure about this. Kane has never been dropped for under performing and there has been many games where he hasn’t performed. I can’t even recall if he’s ever been subbed for poor performance in recent years.

I think there’s too much emphasis on Kane to the detriment of the team. I agree that he will have a negative effect on the team dynamics if he ends up staying. He has let too many people down for his apparent behaviour since the Neville interview.

What I'm enjoying so far is Nuno's refusal to take things personally or personalise things in the way that the media loves.

I just don't see him feeding the journalists in the way Mourinho did, and to a lesser extent even Pochettino towards the end. Of course time will tell, but I don't see an overly ego driven man when I observe Nuno.

Ndombele, for example, out because it's not the right moment, that's all. No mud slinging or digging out players and questioning loyalty or effort.

He shares only the facts directly relevant to his work.

Negative press, weasels, and us fans have jumped to our own conclusions, but Nuno's focus is laser sharp. He's there to prepare the team for the next job. He is not here for the gossip.

If Kane stays, I think Nuno will get him focussed with relative ease, especially with the fans being back, the positivity that is now developing within the squad, and the momentum Spurs have with the rebuilding.

I know I'm saying lots of optimistic things, but I feel like something has shifted for the better.

He doesn’t really under perform outside of when he’s been rushed back from injury. He’s averaged around 30 goals a season in his 7 seasons as a starter, you don’t hit those sorts of numbers with sustained periods of poor form.

A Kane-less Spurs will be very much likely a weaker Spurs for the immediate future and based on the last couple years, we really don’t want to be getting any weaker.

Part of this problem has been that we either haven't had another striker or the manager hasn't liked them.
If Kane isn't performing in a game, then we probably need to score.
Taking off your only striker is not something that many coaches will do in that position.

Mourinho didn't have that excuse last season, as we had Vinicius and he did score some goals.
He wasn't going to be at the club long-term, but that shouldn't have been an issue.
He outlasted the manager, as it turned out.

Anyway, **** Kane for a while. Shouldn't be letting his future overpower what a result yesterday was.

More talk of Tanganga, Skipp, Lucas and Nuno, please guys and gals!

I think Nuno could beat some sense into Ndombele with this beast though

The 'original' was so adapted and added to by Squire over the years that it was barely a Ricky at the end of it.
I nearly bought a CS edition back in the early 80's but too expensive for my budget!

Citeh had the better opportunities, but they they fell to lesser players.

The goal scored was a more difficult opportunity, but it fell to a player
whose likelihood of scoring it is far greater than the likelihood
of any player chosen at random.

Which is what you want from your attackers (their likelihood of scoring
from any opportunity known to man, is greater than when that
opportunity is given to any other random player) .

Not yesterday related (well, explains why he maybe weren’t on the bench) but Sess is due to appear tonight for the U23s to help build up his fitness. Hopefully comes through it well, doubt he’ll travel on Thursday but could possibly be in contention for the home tie vs Pacos.
