Go. Handling isn't great, makes irrational decisions and far too left footed.

Stay. He's a more than adequate League 1 keeper. Could we get better - yes, probably on loan. Other areas need strengthening before we look at a keeper.

All keepers make bloopers. Pickford in the last minute of the Merseyside Derby, Seaman against Brazil, Clemence let the ball through his legs against Scotland. These mistakes are memorable, yet if a defender ****s up, it's quickly forgotten about.

Comfortably one of the best in League One.

Folk need to remember that’s where we are.

He will absolutely need upgraded if we go up (unless Preece can work some magic), but for this division he is more than good enough.

Imagine one year ever we didn’t need a scapegoat.

Hopefully you're right in what you've heard that they're looking at keepers.

Brian Clough had it spot on when he said a good goalkeeper is worth 15-20 points a season. Ours isn't.

Stay, early part of last season behind a settled defence was good add the penalty saving aspect think he earned us a couple of points. Look for better in the championship.

keep, but if a 'higher rated' keeper with a better command of his box and crosses came up then obviously i would be happier.

as for mistakes v saves...watch the highlights and you will see both embo and evans lose the ball one right after the other which allowed them to get a good ball to the edge of our box to one of their players, burge racing out most likely put him off and his attempt went wide, there is a chance that had burge not done so the lad was clean through on goal, plus at least one good save later in the game, basically, he saved us from dropping points in this instance.

for balance, i do not think he is an excellent keeper and i know he has mistakes in him but for div 3 he is pretty much what we can expect.

Garbage when it comes to distribution. Would be laughing getting paid £10 every time he boots a longer kick straight into touch. ££££

Stay - he is good enough for this league.
He does look a lot more confident this season.
All keepers make the odd mistake. But Burge's 2 saves at the end were key to us winning the 3 points on Saturday.
    (Watch the full 90 at 68 & 80 mins)
Patterson stiil has a bit to learn but I think he is good enough too. Hopefully he will get more experience with us but I dread to think what will happen if he makes a mistake.

Coventry replaced him whilst in league 1, then went on to get promotion.

    Says it all for me.

    Replace.

Quite an overwhelming majority say he’s ok then.

Replace if we can find significantly better. Macagiilvray would have been a minor improvement fir another decent league 1 keeper IMO. No point getting rid unless you can improve significantly.

    otherwise stay.

At the moment we have other areas of squad in need of work first.

if we get those done and someone better becomes available then yes we should have a look. If not then so be it.

get other areas done first for me.

Keep. He’s made the scapegoat far too often by some, and he’s never had a solid, settled defense in front of him since he got here.

I wouldn't be gutted if we replaced him, but I think he's got more about him than people give him credit for.
With us playing a higher line now, it was interesting on Saturday that he was a bit quicker off his line - I think there were two or three occasions he'd rushed out to clear a ball in behind which may be a key attribute we need in goal with our pressing tactics. Saying that, he did slice one of them, but at least he got to it ahead of the attacker!
