If I was a Spurs fan I'd be feeling pretty positive about the near future and looking forward to Kane finally being gone and getting all that money to bring in a couple of useful additions to the squad. They've got a great manager in Nuno who will build them into a nice unit, a world class stadium, and it will be an advantage for them to get the focus off Kane and start being a collective, equal outfit rather than ten servants for him.
It's unreal his nationality has got him to where he is. No right to play for anyone in the top half never mind city. (and Tyrone.mings btw is fairly ****e too but is English so that says why Southgate wants 8men back.)
Good. I hope they turn on him. Transfer will be done this week. Levy has them right there he wants them now.
Seeing him accuse someone else of buying a free-kick was comical. The lack of self-awareness in some of these prima-donnas is embarrassing.
Grealish got paid 375k for that apparently. I doubt he gives a **** what anyone thinks. Though he even dared claim he got less from city that villa were offering.
I couldnt believe the speculation I was seeing last week that kane could be in that side yesterday. The fact he went to the stadium to appear on camera so the hacks could mention him constantly speaks volumes. Refuses to train but is so big he could walk in and out his kit on and start?? I assume he wont be at training this week again.
It's basically UEFA trying to find more income themselves because they know City and PSG will continue to keep spending. If the Super League wasn't a closed competition, then it would have taken off.
I thought VAR worked pretty well this weekend. Cant think of any dodgy or delayed decisions. Long may it continue!
I think in general lets wait until we get a situation where someone wants to mess with the result or doesn't like a player or team. Lets see if the lines come out to make someone offside or what. I simply don't trust the types we have seen manipulating the thing in the past. I'd hope they can get it to the point where goals can be celebrated without constant look at a ref waiting for him to stab a team in the back. If a lino keeps flag down and a goal is awarded the offside needs to be crystal clear so if fat lines helps to this is 5/10 seconds ok. But its still for me about attitude to the thing, if the linesman and ref let play go then raise a flag then the goal scored is offside and there needs to be clear evidence to over turn. Same for hand ball shouts. I'm afraid they have made a cack of the rule again. Defenders can not "jump" with arms up to make themselves big. it will be down to the refs interpretation again.
also nice to see the refs taking the refs performance in the Euros as a guide in how to actually do their jobs .
was as Ref said so and Var , as per Euros , only overturn if it is a clear error see also the burnley goal .
