Games are won and lost in midfield. We lost the battle. They looked in control even when we pressed. Going to be a long hard season.
Senegal have had some half decent keepers but yeah, you don't often get them coming out of central Africa. North African teams tend to produce the best African players, I mean, Gedo. Need I say more?
I remember sitting there and thinking "these aren't that good", but then we were on top at that point. Each goal we conceded before the red card felt like a sucker punch, the third obviously came after they had a man advantage. Dunno, you're right about them being well drilled, but I can't say they impressed me more than Charlton or Wigan.
I agree, I have money on QPR to go up , and while I took no pleasure from yesterday’s result , when the dust settled this morning I was content that at least that bet might have a chance . It reminded me of a cup game against a higher level opposition , we did have chances but always felt we where playing at our maximum to have to create them , while they probably had another gear if they needed it
A few posts about challenging others for their behaviour, worth bearing in mind a grown man was stabbed to death while defending his daughter from bullys by a fourteen year old recently. I know that if no one stands up it will only get worse, but some have no fear of using a weapon, the police or the justice system.
Is calling a footballer a “useless ****” counted as filth? I bet there was a player called that at most games this weekend and on a Sunday morning players probably called each other it
Yo can get a knife into the MKM? You can't get drinks and all sorts of other innocent things in. Though it wouldn't surprise me that as they were checking if a bottle didn't hold more than 500ml someone wandered in with an AK47 and a grenade launcher completely unhindered.
1 Not all the incidents mentioned were in the MKM (although the 1st and main 1 was) 2 You don't have to use a weapon ( plenty have died from fist fights )
