I feel like we’re better off just letting them score so we can have a turn at kicking the ball. <laugh>

Japhet having his shirt nearly ripped off his back at the corner, no penalty

I thought that. Maybe a pen if you're wearing red?

I don’t mean to be harsh on a young player but Skipp has looked well out of his depth so far

Real acid test today, in an MF with no natural ball-holding team-mates.

What are you talking about? The bald fraud's daughter was holding Dele's balls last night

Nice of the ref to call in Tanganga for a chat when City will be getting away with murder all game, as they always do.

Tanganga doesn't seem to understand he needs to be wearing a light blue shirt to foul systematically.

Is their claimed poverty a result of paying over the odds for ref bribes?

Skipp has unlocked Hojbjerg to push higher, but that's been cancelled out by Dele dropping far too deep that he's effectively removing himself from the game. We really need Gio to replace him for the second half

...not the first time I've said that in the past week or so

Feel free to ask if I bumped my head, but how about Gio as a false nine?

..oh, right, that would mean Sissoko replacing Dele. Disregard

Tanganga and Skipp impressive although Tanganga probably should be booked by now.

We grew into the game after a rusty start and look a bit more settled now. Some dangerous moments on the counterattack.

Taylor isn’t helping us with a couple of poor decisions so far, but Skipp has got about well and Højbjerg looks happier with a little more freedom. Fernandinho has been very good for City and Tanganga has stood out for us.

Ultimately you know City will try and control the game but we’re doing a reasonable job containing them and have created some good situations. Need to keep it up.

You can see Grealish' diving is just an act because there are plenty of times he gets quite hard contact and doesn't look close to going over. However with his back to goal for example, he just waits for the merest touch. He must also practice diving because there was a tap by Skppy early in the first half just outside the area and he ended up miles in it.
