We've got too over excited and went all over the place at the back. We've got ok defenders but need someone of real quality back there to sort them out
Would anyone have picked that back 3? Schar is put best cb by a mile. Why is harden playing so high up?
On the evidence of this we're in serious trouble defensively. We're going to get thumped a few times. We score then we sat so deep it was asking for it and after the pen they gave up
Feddy isn't a bad cb, but none of this back 3 are good enough to play in this league. I don't understand the decisions being made regarding cbs....
He's not a good player at all, but he's certainly wasted in the role he was given today... He was playing far to high up and he has no ability in that area whatsoever
It's just game 1, but I think the tough to beat solid defence is now completely gone.. Strange decisions today to play that back 5 and it didn't work at all.. He must change things next week. The game was great 1st half and I feel like one side were rallied to attack and the other were told to sit back and try and keep it calm. The result was the side that went after it trampled over the other.
I want to know what he says to them at half time because this happens a lot. We come out like a bunch of pansies. He can’t motivate mr motivator.
I’m sorry but this Shelvey Hayden **** show has to be stopped. We have the most immobile midfield. It’s horrible and the fact is we have had it for 4 years.
I keep saying Hayden is hopeless and that his injury last season was a blessing. Shelvey was OK 1st half, but we all know he doesn't have 90 mind on him. Willock for Hayden and it'll be better, but seriously wtf is the defence? Are any of them really good enough?
