Back from the holiday and pleased to report that North Norfolk does have wifi so I managed to keep in touch with the transfer "comings " and going of the club , as far as I could make out we were in for 3 strikers 3 centre backs 4 midfielders 2 right backs and if I am correct we managed to sell a very promising young defender, sack the halftime presentation guy Paul Coyte who had been with the club 16 yrs and partner some food delivery company with a fleet of scooters , ffs Spurs you never learn , think I need another holiday in Norfolk
On the plus side the weather was decent , beer was good and the kids had a great time

Never understood a word or sentence he said but often found it to be the best post of the day.

I want Kane gone because I believe there are two types of people in the world: the 80-90% who at least theoretically are trying to live by some kind of equitable and sustainable social contract, and the 10-20% who try to game that contract. And I think what the former should do is exclude the latter as far as possible from their lives. Then both groups would deal insofar as possible only with each other, and the world would be a fairer and better place.

Kane had to choose between security and freedom three years ago. The downside of security, available by signing a six year contract, was that it limited his freedom. The downside of freedom. available by not signing that deal, was that if limited his security.

So Kane decided he would gain the benefit of security by signing the contract, and then gain the benefit of freedom by welching on it. Real clever like.

And all I can say is, "You piece of sh*t."

I'm well aware that Kane isn't unusual in doing what he's doing. The fact that many people do something that is clearly wrong doesn't make it less wrong.

If Randolph chops three people's heads off, and you tell me, "Well, you know, four other people chopped three people's heads off last year, so it's not so bad, really," I'm not buying it.

those who divide the world into two types of people, and those who don't.

    < Blondie / Tuco >

I actually believe there are three types of people (my thinking based on the
Hindu "gunas" - via an exposition BKS Iyengar did in his "Lighr on yoga" book) .
