3-0. FT. Great stuff from us. There was a 10/15 minute spell start of the 2nd half where they were so close to levelling, but with big help from Dickie, we rowed it out.
Good result. Hull started well last week and their first home game with the fans to celebrate being back in the Championship. We rode through it and finished to take all the points. Well done to the lads and the management. Important game on Tuesday to perform all over again to build on that confidence we need to push on into the start of the season. We can’t complain where we are. Good platform. Beer time tonight
Not 100% today so went to sleep at around 3:20pm and just woke up. Might need to make that a Saturday afternoon tradition if this is what I wake up to. YOU R'SSS!!!
We are gonna romp this league….Already booked my ticket to Baku in 2024 for the Champions League final against PSG.
What a result and a fantastic atmosphere amongst the QPR fans. The ground was half empty. 1st half was quite an even game and could have easily been 1-1 if not for a great save by Dieng. 2nd half Hull were dominant for maybe 10 minutes or so and probably should have scored. When dykes slotted home from a well worked corner routine then it was game over. The red card and 3rd goal was just an added bonus. At times, when in possession it looked like a training game and we were confident with the ball. De Wijs will no doubt find Mageniss (or whatever his name is) still in his pocket somewhere. Chair looked like he wasnt 100% but thats understandable. There wasnt a bad performance today. Great to watch Johanson live,.such a calm and clever player. The real stand out players for me were Ball and De Wijs. Ball did the simple things and enables Dickie to move forward freely. Excellent team performance.
I never felt more like singing the blues........... When Rangers win and.... ****ty, pukey, ****-stained, tossers Norwich lose!!
I have been saying this about Ball for a long time. I think that Field will eventually become a step up on Ball... But at the moment Ball is a stable pivot, that does alot to make everything else happen better.
I have been wondering if Ball will step up. He's getting a great chance with Field and Amos still out. Maybe he'll keep the spot.
I think it's really important that Dykes got a goal. He hasn't looked amazing so far and that will have boosted him. Off the mark early.
I reckon I’d look half decent playing alongside Johansen. The guy makes the game look so simple. Thought Ball was poor last week but the whole thing looked more balanced with one striker.
Been out all afternoon and had a late lunch in a restaurant where you can't get any internet or mobile signal.. A real 1st world problem....... I saw that we were 1 up from our Watsapp chat but missed the whole 2nd half so no idea of score until got home...... Sounds like a thoroughly enjoyable afternoon was had by all, fab result, some lovely goals and great team effort both on and off the pitch..... Well done lads...... Up the R's
Highlights...... https://www.skysports.com/watch/video/sports/football/teams/queens-park-rangers/12381597/hull-v-qpr Dykes's movement for his goal was exceptional, started at the back post and lost his marker so easily with his run...... What was Dickie and Barbet doing in the center forward and inside left positions for the 3rd......Wonderful attacking spirit.... Barbet was already celebrating a goal when Hull keeper made late save with his foot from Dykes......
