We were in Barclays League Division Three in 1987/88, as you'll see if you follow the link I've just posted. The Premier League started in 1992, with the former Div 2 being renamed League Division 1 etc.

My boys have had a tournament all day today so missed the match but over the moon with the result. The last 4 years down here that would have been a draw or worse. Fantastic result!

This is starting to wind me up. <laugh> Just catching up on the thread. It was 100% division 3 and as someone else stated it changed at the start of the premiership.

****ing good result today by the way. Burge kept us in it late on. ;)

'outstanding' according to LJ. Only about 80% fit. Benno commented that he has pace and quality and could tell he looks a class act. Looking forward to seeing him in the flesh.

Just back home with a headache, not the drink but the tension.

FFS I can't remember a single players who didn't make mistakes.

We gave the ball away, played them onside, let them spin our central defenders, etc.

MK bullied us to a degree and we allowed them back into the game.

We started well but allowed far too many balls to come into our box.

Great to meet up with everyone though and great support.

    Roll on Tuesday <cheers>

Now that clip in itself should dismiss any doubts that the doubters have in regards the change of direction and investment in the club.

Under SD there would have only been 1 shirt for each player so no cjance they'd give them to a young supporter 2 games in :)
