My two main worries glp, would our defending be better than last time out in the championship and have we got enough goals. We need another striker, Josh won’t score enough to keep us up.
Still it’s only early so I’m going to try and stay positive for a bit longer

Disappointing against a very mediocre side. We need to do more than just pump crosses into the box and hope Magennis gets on the end.

Thought De Wijs was the weakest link whilst here and shame we didn't put him under much pressure today. Opportunity missed by The Coach imo.

Mediocre? We will be top six this season I pretty much guarantee you. Not a bad performance from your lot and bar a great reaction save and a brilliant goal line clearance things could have gone either way. This is a tough league as you found out two years ago but from what I saw today you will easily survive albeit in lower mid table. Best of luck.

Difference today was that you took your chances well .. while we huffed and puffed a bit .. credit to you, you always looked dangerous going forward .. wish ya luck

You won’t finish Top 6 you was lucky that we didn’t take advantage when on top.
    We will finish around 15th.
    QPR around 10th.

I thought QPR looked pretty good as the away side, up until their 2nd goal we looked likely to get something out of it and it would have been deserved. But 2-0 down and then a man down we were buggered. We were quick enough covering the middle third out of defence but it all slowed down from then, their back line got back and we were left putting largely poor crosses into the box. I don't recall any of ours having a pop from outside the box, did I miss them?

Well it turns out that he was right about nearly all of that. Must make McCann some sort of visionary. Get your hats and coats on everybody. Long, hard winter ahead.

We didn’t and opportunities did present themselves to have a go.
Also too many aimless crosses from out wide into the box.
I’m not too disheartened as the score line definitely flattered them.
Also we are missing arguably our two best players in Honeyman & Wilks.
Longman shouldn’t have started poor selection by GM he was gasping for breath after 10 minutes.

They've got a great chance of finishing top 6 and as a team have a bit of everything. Austin will score goals, Chair was outstanding today, Willock is very good too and then there's Johansen (spelling) and Dickie.

Today was never a 3 goal game and we weren't too far off them considering we're without our 2 best players

At Christmas last year we were bottom of the table. We made four loan signings and turned it round to finish 9th. The second half of the season table would have had us fourth! You do us a disservice.
We have signed all four of those loaners including Johansen who pulled all the strings today and Charlie Austin who luckily for you has a slight knock and missed today. Add to that Dozzell who is improving all the time and it should be obvious to most people that we are play off material. You are probably just having a bit of a knee jerk reaction.
I see de Wijs isn’t particularly rated by you lads but he has been brilliant for us. I thought he totally bossed his duel with Magennis today.

You should also mention Dieng who is one of the best keepers outside the Premier League, slight blip with a dodgy clearance today but our issue with him is that he will off to the African Nations for Senegal in deep mid winter and the back up, Jordan Archer, is just ok.

Fair enough. Not trying to wind anyone up. I just think you get better balance seeing what the opposition make of you.
    All the best.
