I'm following it via the BBC website as I'm mid-air on my way to the US for work next week, and it isn't making great reading. 2 shots all game is pi$$ poor. Some change in personnel or shape needed soon in this game. Pearson got his subs and timings wrong for me last week, can he improve this week.
Should have got something out of that, when we were on top. Palmer should have least hit the target with his miss. Sorry but I have to say Vyner is far too casual and his positioning and closing down is shocking and Weimann has a good engine but has no composure in front of goal and showed once again he is not a midfielder and never will be by losing his man for their 2nd. I am not sure that Palmer offers us much he seems incapable of finding any space. Very disappointing.

I disagree regarding Palmer, needs better players around him to play off of, think Scott is the same.. I just don’t find our players are in tune with each other, only short spurts..look like they’re still in holiday mode. Not so much effort for me, bit of same old same old.
Take your chances and 2 players not committing schoolboy errors with 90 seconds to go probably helps, the same 2 players made schoolboy errors today and both ended in goals against.
Better than Weimann for sure, needs to be an impact sub? One thing is for sure we are not getting beaten up in midfield with King and James we certainly are holding our own. We are not great that much is obvious but we have to take our better chances and cut out the individual errors that led to both goals, that would be a start Palmer had one chance to influence the game and never even hit the target, rightly subbed. He also with a very slack pass on the half hour mark in a dangerous area put Atkinson in a position where he had to take one for the team and carry a yellow for over an hour.
I didn’t see the game but I must confess I was expecting more from NP last season and even better this time out. Regrettably I see the same things happening with BCFC again but with different faces and the whole dynamics of the squad appears to be off kilter and needs to be fixed or we will die an unnatural slow demise. Money can not be the issue because we are not suffering alone so it may take some superior management skills. I thought that the hiring of NP was a step in that direction but we are yet to see any fruit from the tree we planted.
Sloppy individual mistakes are killing us and sadly in both league games the same 2 players were responsible.
