Still a good move for him, but taking Bertrand, Ings, Vestergaard out of their team is massive. They must retain Ward Prowse or there is too much of their big names going. I like the manager though, he seems to have a bit of grit about him.
Yeah this is the big thing for Rafa. Traditionally he is a 2nd half of the season man. If it takes that long to get up to speed, boring their tits off as he usually does, then I think the pressure will be immense. He probably isn't going to get a fair crack of the whip off the fans. The owner will have to be patient. I reckon Rafa would eventually get them achieving roughly what they should be on the numbers. He usually does. I just don't know if the Liverpool connection and his ****ty style will see him afforded time and love.
I expect the usual fair. The promoted sides get an early win or two and everyone jizzes over their utter genius, new and bold strategies. Before they crash out.
Yeah thst does happen every season but there's sometimes one that carry it on until Xmas like Sheff United and then Leeds last year
