I don't get the hate for Bielsa. The guy was years ahead of his time, a true trailblazer when it comes to tactics. Pep Guardiola looks up to him as a legend. Says it all really.
He's already tried different tactics and formations in this game alone. He's dabbled with 2 CB's and then 3 CB's, so what exactly is 'his way'? It seems to me he has many ways and often goes through a few of them in a single game.
yeah, he's won ****ing loads of trophies with his 'trail blazing' tactics which is why all the biggest clubs want him.
Bielsa and Pep are two very different types of coach. Pep couldn't do what Bielsa has done, take a group of mediocre championship players and turn them in to PL players. ANd Bielsa wouldnt be able to do what Pep has done, spend £1bn on the best players in the world and keep their egos in check long enough to make them into champions. Bielsa ****s off if things dont go his way, as soon as a chairman tried to tell him whats what, Bielsa would do one. Leeds are the perfect club for Bielsa, because their only expectation, for now at least, is PL survival, which he will achieve at a canter, like last season. But in terms of getting the most out of questionably skilled players, there are few better.
