There is a condition called chronic malaria which can persist for months or even years without acute symptoms. Bit like long Covid I guess. So day to day he'll be fine but the extra levels of physical strain that come with being an elite athlete may well be beyond him. He hasn't looked right for ages now but then again Arsenal in the attacking third are just so inept maybe that has also contributed. They barely create more than 2 decent chances over an entire game.

There were rumours he was available for less than £20m too (may have actually been less than £15m) due to his contract expiring next summer so if that’s the case it’d be a smart signing. Him and Pau Torres are two good CBs to be linked with.
Although speaking of Pau Torres, unsure how reliable this guy is with relatively few followers but Pedro Sepulveda claims Torres has rejected us. Maybe it’s why Milenkovic is now supposedly in talks? We know Paratici negotiates with multiple players and clubs.
Aurier was apparently in talks with another side but they broke down due to disagreements about his appearances in the upcoming AFCoN in January.
All that matters is that these N players allegedly being pursued for a given position are evidently going to take the squad upwards, whichever one is finally acquired.
I've done various searches for the relevant posts which quote the relevant articles using various keywords which should narrow down the search (Der Spiegel, Football Leaks, Khaldoon Al Mubarak, Mangala, Etihad, also slight variations on each), yet I either receive no results at all, or unrelated posts which also trigger those same keywords
