LOL, fair point, but the idea it’s dead isn’t true, certainly not in the PL anyway. What’s his face on Sky getting carried away again, he loves a bit of hyperbole him like.
Wages as much as fees, we started spending like a CL side without the income. The owner has covered all the losses, but we’re over double the limit for the PL FFP rules in terms of declared losses, hence the reason we’re now reigned in,
Thing about Rafa is that he's not bad enough to get binned off. Your team will be well organised but ****ing incredibly boring to watch.
First rule of business - never write off a loan unless there is absolutely no chance of you getting it back. Writing it off would mean a big tax bill for the loanee.
Just been having a look at the accounts. We spend on average 2.1 million a week on wages. That includes employers NI (13.8%) and employers pension (let’s say 5%). It sounds a lot. Right. Well we employ 292 staff of which only 25 relate to 1st team squad players. Leaving 267 of non playing staff. Bruce and charnley account for 65k a week. An average weekly salary for the remaining 265 would be 700 quid so a further 200k. But I’m going to round it up to 300k. So of the 2.1m, deduct day 300k for other staff, Bruce and Charnley. Leaves 1.8m for playing staff. Divide by 25 is an average weekly salary of 72k. Including employers NI and pension. Divide 72k by 1.188%(which is 13.8 ni and 5 pen) and its an average of 60k per week. And that sounds about right. Interesting eh!
Hmm, have a look at this, I worked out the top six points tally as a percentage of the total points. Looks like things have not really changed that much or am i missing something?
If we got relegated into the EFL, would the takeover get passed? Cause if so (& if they’d remain interested) I’d take that.
