Theresa May announces 'full disclosure of facts': http://uk.news.yahoo.com/mps-debate-hillsborough-petition-053031954.html
sounds like politician talk for a cover up. Do you really think a Tory government is going to expose Thatcher for the crimes she committed in feathering her own misguided policies?
"shamed into action" is a bizarre way of putting it. this lot have been in for 17 months. the previous lot were in for 13 years. the lot before them were in for 8 years after the event.
I signed the petition myself...and I am a Conservative...I await the outcome of this with particular interest. If there is something that has been covered up, and my suspicion is that there is, then I want to know about it. I really think this needs to be resolved for the people concerned, and if there are any apologies to be made then it needs to be done. No government, no company, no individual will get every decision correct, but I believe in honesty, which is what I was taught more than anything else in my Hull upbringing. It is an absolute tragedy and very hard to speak about, and I really hope I am not being out of order in anything I say or believe, and if I have upset anyone in my comments then please accept my apologies.
"The Government" should maybe have read "Parliament"? Anyway, our 'representatives' - those whom we elect to look after us and the country.........and then they look after themselves.
They're handing over every document relating to that day, along with the minutes of every meeting at government level about that day. Full disclosure is full disclosure, there too much support for this now, it will all come out and it will undoubtedly drop some people in the ****.
I know you are mate, you hypocrite. Go write a match report or something they work better than my sleeping pills.
INDEED. From the time this happened to this day there is only One Person to blame. The Policeman in charge of the game. I said so at the time it happened. The middle tunnel of leapings lane should have been closed before the gates were ever opened (meaning that all fans had to use the sides) and with the amount of fans still outside the game should have been delayed until everyone was in Safely. These simple steps would have saved the 96. Its a disgrace that it ever happened - The Policeman in charge has got away with mass murder IMO. Cover up Yes. Even Bruce Grobbalaar(Liverpol gk) was threatened with arrest as he had a go at a PC who was doing little to help at the time. Even now the man in charge should be tried and locked up. We have all suffered since then as Thatcher and Justice Taylor worked a report so that all top level grounds were made to be all seater. This whole saga has been one big cover up. Time is long overdue for the truth that we all know to be finally confirmed. I feel for all those involved and my utter contempt for the PoliceOfficer who caused this and his underlings who went along with it. Whoever was 2nd and 3rd in command for that match should have taken over as commonsense was left back at the station.
Liverpool fans have themselves to blame as usual because the thieving scousers decided to invite themselves into the ground free of charge with no thought for others and the ones who decided to break in should have died. But it was that long ago nothing can be done about it now and it's pointless hanging on and putting blame to other people. It was those cheap scouse ****s fault because they didn't want to pay for a ticket, and second to that if it wasn't for those dirty scousers being ****s at football acting like moronic imbeciles and throwing things on the pitch and at opposition fans the fences would never have had to be in place to start with. The whole things their fault from top to bottom.
