I've noticed this elsewhere too, pundits not even considering LFC as title candidates. I don't see any reason why we are not in with a good shout this season. Its Citeh being champs with the Grealish signing, plus Chelsea being CL champions and having spent big which seems to dictate. I disagree. I think there are two very good sides in this league and that is Citeh and Liverpool. They will fight out the title race, Chelsea and MU to fight over 3rd and 4th for me.

Our best run of form was when we had Philipps in defence and we look likely to sell him. If our defenders hit the ground running then we may well be capable of 90+ points again. City obviously as well, Chelsea probably too. Man U have bought well but will they improve enough as a team to get 90+ points?
I wouldn't use last seasons injury clusterfuck as a base for anything. We are a different animal now, much stronger. It may not gel immediately but we know the high quality of this team
My Philipps comment wasn't entirely serious. But are we a different animal? I certainly hope so, because we do know the quality of the first team. Time will tell.

Think of the title winning team, then add Jota, Thiago and Konate. Quality additions in defence,midfield and up top.
If we hadn't have chosen to take a two month sabbatical in the middle of last season, they'd be right.
