About 20% "pork" meat and the rest made up of ears, gums, trotters, lungs, brain, breadcrumbs, sawdust and whatever else was lying on the abattoir floor at the time. Mmmm, sounds lovely.
Not a morning person with regards to breakfast so I usually skip it and have an early lunch. Pie and mash with a good helping of gravey!!! Fantasic....in fact I'm going for an early early lunch as soon as the pub opens!!
The sawdust will have been used to soak up blood and p!ss in the abatoir before finding it's way into the sausage, so yes, it'll probably be salty. And nutritious.
