Hi JT, are you trying to download multiple ST's we have three ST's and I had to log in to each account and only select the specific ticket for that account then "download NFC ticket" was enabled bit of a pain but I have them now
Make sure you have Google pay app downloaded if you have android. Apple wallet if you gave Apple. Go to watford website click on tickets, then change or reaffirm password, log in. Go to tickets, your ST should show, tick box, faded download button should turn red, click on that and it will download. Everyone should also download the NHS app (not trace & trace app) and get your covid certificate, you will need to have access to that in the future.
Downloaded the app after several attempts, the club e-mail doesn't quite tell you that you have to download the new ticketing app first Upgraded to a new iPhone 12 and went to the Vic to try out the Season Ticket app and it worked perfectly no issues at all I looked up Phil McNulty's prediction fo this season and was amused to see he reluctantly predicted us to finish 20th due to Watford supporters demanding that he did not. jinx us by saying we should be safe
I seem to have managed it now - not by following their instructions though. What a drag. I assume I have downloaded the 'wallet' although I have no idea what it is. Anyway - as I cannot (now) go on Saturday, I discover that 'seat release' has a dedicated e-mail address - another change. I read somewhere that seats can be reallocated on a per match basis to a different person- given the ID is recognised. Anyone tried this ?
I fear he might be right though . As for the season tickets - think it’s a case of hope for the best and get there early ! The app has been scrapped now I think ?
I spat my dummy out a short way over the ticketing but I rather suspect that it was just me being a luddite now that I've calmed down and had a cup of tea. Mrs Fez sorted it out without problem. I did find having to reset my password a bit galling though.
Sounds like I might have fun if I ever get to the Vic again as mostly when I go to use my phone it has no battery power left.
I reset my password 4 times before I gave up. Something has changed for it to work now. I only want my phone to use as a phone, but now it’s impossible to live normally without the host of activities required-NHS COVID passports , bank validity messages and so on.
Many of us are being dragged kicking and screaming into a new technical era we don't really want or don't think we want. This is the most recent on the list that I have now accepted: 4 didget code for credit card Self service supermarket checkouts Touch & go credit card Pay for transport, coffee etc with your phone QR codes for concerts etc Now even Watford season tickets What next?!
All of this is going to happen whether we like it or not. It is much easier to accept this and decide to embrace it than to offer futile resistance of the inevitable, and choose to jump straight in.
