The simplest thing would be for the mods to close or move any thread that they do not think needs to be a multi board thread. In other words anything that isn't a match / build up thread or something that has been asked for by both boards like the virtual footy. If there are any global or cross club footballing issues like the TV rights debate etc, they can go on the Premier League board.
I didn't think I could do anything at all with multi board thread? So I could move them to the PL board then?
The main problem with the premier league board is threads go missing as no-one ever really goes on there - or do they? It makes sense for the complete nonsense threads, but otherwise it might not work.
I think too much is being made of the cross board thread stuff. There was alot in the build up to the game and a few after discussing the 'events' of the game. They will die down again soon enough.
But if I could move threads that are just wum crap it would be good. Anyway just tried moving the Suarez thread and I can't do it or send it back to the Newcastle board. Most Wums now now that if they just start a multi thread there is nothing the mods can do.
You can only move them if the first board they are on is the Liverpool board. So you could move this one and the banter one, but not the Suarez one cos the first board for that one is the Newcastle board. Tho' if you do have any probs with that thread you can always ask the Newcastle mods to close or move it - the Newcastle mods are pretty good at that. We had a Newcastle thread on the Utd board that everyone wanted rid of and they closed it as soon as I asked. If all else fails, you can always ask syd to close or move the multi threads too - he can mod the lot
GIVE THE MODS THE POWER TO REMOVE A CLUB NAME FROM A MULTI CLUB THREAD. before a fool could get rightly reamed for wumming and if a groupd af guys mysteriously turned up together it was patently obvious what they were at. now its a free for all. things that attracted users to this forum and not others were; 1. you had the numbers, had. 2. you had self moderation of baords 3. you had a deliniation between boards as far as i can tell none of those three itesm are looking very strong right now.
It must have been preseason when you mainly stuck to the Stevie G thread then RR. He was always starting threads in preseason on our board about his love for Nani and 'breaking news' on transfers.
He is a Arsenal fan and quite a few people have said he was that Kamran guy because they both seem to hate Hernandez.
