Lilywhite Rose has posted a photo of Cirkin holding up the Sunderland scarf so the announcement should be imminent. Real shame to see him go but hopefully there is a buy back and sell on clause. Hope it goes well for him too. You’re getting one of our top prospects, @Saff mate, enjoy him!
When I say we pose a threat, I'm necessarily saying we are going to win. I'm saying that we have I high chance in comparison to other clubs in the league at taking points from Man City. This is what they are trying to change. This is a fascinating discussion. Seems like they hate the "greed" it when certain players are bought...
Romano is claiming we were offered Laporte as part of the Kane deal but we preferred to focus on Romero. Lots of implications here but what we still don't know is Laporte + £???m. If the second part of the equation didn't add up, it made perfect sense pursuing Romero instead of pissing about waiting for City to show some humility and realism. We also have no idea if Laporte even accepted the idea of moving to us. Chances are he didn't.
Because it wouldn't be a summer transfer window otherwise, we've been linked with Marcelo Brozovic Time to work out a deal to get the most bang for Suning Holdings' lack of bucks, methinks...
Similar can be said of Sterling, who was floated as a makeweight early in the tapping-up process, but is so keen to move he's reportedly signing a new contract No doubt with a release clause so he can get his dream move to a football team next summer...
Here's a little time saver for any of you who, like me, may have been spending a bit too much time tracking Spurs' transfer news. You can get it all in one place below. "Spurs are looking into bringing in any ace, powerhouse, dynamo or beast under the sun who may conceivably strengthen their squad, and quite a few who definitely won't. They have no interest whatsoever, have ruled out making a bid, are keeping tabs on, are working out a deal, are talking to the player's agent, have agreed on personal terms, are negotiating with the club, or have sent a chartered plane to bring the player to London. The player is happy at his current club, desperate for his dream move, or any way the way the wind blows doesn't really matter to him. The latest development is that whatever we just finished saying is utter bollocks and complete bullsh*t. Also, Spurs are looking to offload most of their squad. We'll tell you how that works out for them, but don't hold your breath. Finally, Harry Kane is holding his breath till his face turns blue to force a move, unless he's overjoyed to sign a new contract with the club he's always served more loyally than anyone."
Honestly if he is trying to force this move and has no intention of staying here then I don't want to see him in a Spurs shirt again. He claims to be a Spurs fan but would a Spurs fan act in the way he has. We all hated how Berbatov, Modric and Bale forced moves and by the looks of things he is doing the same thing.
Kane saga : If Citeh buy, I want Levy tp put in the T+Cs that Spurs can publicly state the full : - base fee paid - payment schedule (number of payments over number of years) - nature/value of any "add on" clauses
He's returned late to training after giving that 'Come and get me' interview to Neville. He wants to leave...the club know it and despite him having 3 years left on his contract, are willing to sell. It's all about the price and how much time we'll have to get Frazier Campbell in from Huddersfield.
I can't remember Alan Shearer behaving this way when he was at Newcastle and they had a far worse record than us in his time there. Therefore, i'd be inclined to call bs on his claim to be a Spurs supporter
Mike McGrath saying we’re interested in Ward-Prowse. His set pieces alone are worth about 9-12 points a season, it’s a yes from me.
