Maybe but he didn’t make the initial Denmark starting line up in the euros but it might just be a better system fit. He is likely to have more of a screen at Leicester and vardy is a good person for him to ping balls at
Overpriced like all of Liverpool’s dregs. Is he even any good? He got a game because they were forced to and didn’t they move heaven and earth not to play him initially? I’m sure there was a Fabinho and Henderson starting CB partnership at times Liverpool are able to extract silly money for very average players. I’d be worried about us doing a Bournemouth
I don’t mind him going, but we definitely need a first team quality CB with height and pace. He is a flawed defender, but carries almost 50% of our set piece threat and set piece defence, we need to replace that.
He’s never really scored as many from set pieces as I think he should have. Not sure we’re losing that much on that front. More the diagonal pings.
You can always rely on there being typos especially with the the Leach articles. I swear he never proof reads which is strange for a journalist.
I'm honestly not too worried about Jannik going. He had a good campaign last season (in the first half of it, mainly) but before that it was a pretty miserable couple of years of performances from him. We were desperate to offload at one point. What I am worried about, slightly, is a lack of experience and leadership. Still plenty of time left in the window.
He didn’t seem like he really showed leadership in his time here. When it should have been one of the things he brought given his age.
So we hadn't accepted the £15m bid this morning as we wanted £18m-£20m and a few hours later we have accepted £15m. Either we are crap at negotiating or we haven't agreed a deal for £15m
It does seem a little on the cheap side, but I suspect we just want to get things wrapped up, and get cracking on what we need to do.
I expect it is also another case of we know Spurs are offering 8-10m. I wonder if their fans are really annoyed at the implied revelation on Ings. They could have really used him regardless of whether Kane stays of goes. But it sounds like they went too low on contract and far too low on fee. Guess it depends on whether or not they get the guy they want from Fiorentina or Martinez from Inter And as you say - getting things done quickly so we can sort out the rest of our moves
Aston Villa preparing a second bid for JWP plus Spurs tabling an offer. WHAT PART OF NOT FOR SALE DO THESE MORONS NOT UNDERSTAND!!!!!!!!!!!!
So with Vesty going, Salisu will be a regular in the team and everyone will finally realise how good he is.
