hang in there mate. I have a kids away top (black one) aged 5-6 which is probably too small, but also two pairs of shorts aged 7-8 my lad doesn’t fit into. they’re barely used to be honest and will be going to the charity shop soon. The shorts are a more subtle way in ……one pair red, one blue. Yours if you want em, pm me and I’ll stick em in the post my lad turns 7 this November but is already the height of a 9yr old with the frame of a 10yr old. It’s frightening how quick they grow.
Just wondering how people are feeling now, after a lot wanted us out prior to the game yesterday to focus on the league? I’m absolutely delighted we are through to the next round I must say.
If you're at MK, and @Essayyeffcee is in the NE/wants them, I have a few mates down who'd drop them off up there. Just a thought and I can sort you out a ticket if you like.
More than made up for it with some of the saves he made. He's young and he will learn. Nights like last night will teach him more than 1000 training sessions. Don't forget that at the same age, Jordan Pickford was playing League One football and that season was not without it's mistakes......
Didnt want us out but having said that nor particularly bothered if we were. A wins a win and will build confidence I feel the same as yesterday!
I wonder if the name of this cup should be changed to the Man City Cup... they win it most years. To be frank, as in previous years, my priority is getting out of the turd division! We won the tin pot cup last year and dispelled the Wembley Jinx, great. So whilst it would be foolish to not take the three cups seriously...I would always pick the side that will help to bolster the league team and the game coming up. So giving pitch 'minutes' to those in the 1st team squad but not necessarily starting.
Well I'm glad you're delighted although was it necessary to have a dig on the back of it ? I was happy with the team selection apart from probably onien, but then a poster on here pointed out he needed game time so fair enough. Just a shìtty first round cup game against port vale but i still got pìssed and emotional, as evidenced by my posts last night That and Cirkin signing made for a great day
I never ever want us to lose so I'm happy to go as far as possible in every competition. Team selection, I'll leave to the manager.
That's 2 managers complaining of the referee in 2 matches that we've won - long may it continue!! https://www.sunderlandecho.com/spor...fter-carabao-cup-defeat-by-sunderland-3341745
Lovely through ball and finish for the first goal and another excellent ball by Neil to Diamond to win the pen. The pass by Pritchard to Diamond for his attempted lob was also quality. Highlights...
Thanks mate. it's dead easy to post them. I wanted to come back to you re tickets as it is 50:50. I need to clear it with the boss tonight, but I'm not firmly in the good books.....and I have to convince her I am packed and organised to go camping with my boy for a week on the Sunday. I am prepared, but the convincing part is like running an intense sales pitch. As if life wasn't hard enough.........
