Did anyone get any opinions from Brighton fans after Saturday?

I documented my feelings about the quality of our recent footballing performances on an other thread recently. In short I reckon we are now playing the best football I can remember since the Garry Parker, Gareth Roberts days of the 80s.

I spoke to my Donny supporting mate after The Keepmoat match and reckoned he had only seen one better footballing team this season - West Ham. That said, I think last Saturday was a better all round performance and I wonder what the Brighton view might have been?

jumped in a taxi back to the city centre, and the driver had been to the game..he said he thought we looked a really decent team, he was pleased they got away with a point and he was just grateful we had that coloured chap up front (his words, not mine)

We spoke to a few fans in the pub afterwards and they thought it was a good open game which either side could have won, they were impressed with McLean, said he never stopped "jumping around all over the place" and thought Hobbs was good. I think they were happy and relieved with the draw. They are just enjoying life in the Championship and were all proud of their stadium.

Had to have a chuckle at Trickyones statement about dodgy official , in the end I felt the ref did ok but for the first 10 minutes he was their twelth man.

I have a vision of us beating Barcelona in the Champions League within 10 years.

I remember writing into the Hull Daily Mail when I was a youngster and suggesting people should believe in the team more, I was 16 so late 1996, and suggesting that one day we would get to the Premiership.

I truly believe one day Hull City will be playing Champions League football. Possibly with Stoke too.

I know I'm a pessimist, but I bet I'm not the only one who thinks that's ridiculous! <laugh>

Only if this vision is completed on a PS3. If it is, i think it's time to turn your console off mate. You've been playing FIFA too long.

OK, maybe I went over the top with the Stoke City bit.

But I had a vision and a dream back in 1996 that Hull City could get into the Premiership, back in the Dolan Division 3 days, and it happened, and I saw what that meant to every fan I came across on Wembley back when we achieved it.

Back in 1996, I was ridiculed for suggesting that Hull City could get into the Premiership.

Now I believe that we can get into the Champions League within 10 years.

As long as we stick to the plan (ie no more over-spending, no more debts, no stupid panic purchases if and when we get promoted), and as long as we believe.
