Nice to see Ben Davies get a game, before we sell him.

 

Clarkson 8/10? Impressed.

 

He seems to be playing the dm role.

Good covering some nice passes so far.

6/10 unless you're using the luvscale

 

Ben Davies is a superstar.

Clarkson is the scouse thiago, short, slow but can pass it.

 

Rhys williams has missed 3 really badly now.

Shouldn't had a hat trick, none on target.

 

A reasonable game there for the stiffs and the late arrivals.

Bit of a run about and the manager will be pleased by the pressing game he wants to see.

Ox put his hand up for a game day 1 ad thiago and henderson won't be ready.

Fabinho looks fit, that bodes well.

 

Ox looked sharp all game, the intensity of the team including subs was good all game, konate has a weapon of a pass, the greek cafu needs sanding a bit but he looks good and positive.

Taki looking like the ghost of yossi benayoun.

Good performance all round, is that the last one?

 

So who are we signing a midfielder or striker. How can we ignore minamino looking different? Might need an extra midfielder but would like to see who turns up.

 

His gait and general appearance remind me of Beardsley - not as ugly though.

 

Good game. Everyone looked sharp. Bobby doing what Salah couldn't, maybe he's saving it for the real games.

 

Sounds like a good performance. Proper game next.

 

Some good performances from some of the fringe players throughout pre-season (what I saw of it at least). If they can carry it forward then we may just have a stronger squad than we've been thinking.
I thought the defence tonight looked a little vulnerable at crosses and set-pieces, but wasn't really tested thoroughly.

 

decent game for pre season stuff and did enjoy some of the attacking play . Nice to see Firm in the goals as we really need him to be on it in the upcoming season .

 

So did Davies actually play then? How did he look?

 

Klopp saying we got lucky with Robertson's injury, not as bad as thought.
