I've liked what I've seen from Anguissa, our midfield currently lacks athleticism at the moment and he can drive forward with the ball like Sissoko used to but he also has much better passing and spacial awareness than Moussa. I also think he'll suit our counterattack style better compared to Fulham's slow passing game.

Has Lookman signed for anyone yet, he'd also be a good signing for us?

If we do actually sign him for money. And willock. Something doesn’t add up.

There is no way under the current regime we go and spend upwards of 40m on two players.

Fulham paid upwards of 20m for this chap.

I would think so but that guy is quite reliable it seems.

I suspect if they had interest it was option 2 if willock fell through. Nufc have been interested in this player for years

His source is some random tweet mate. He’s as ITK as my Persian cat.

Decent player him though, and I think there’ll be plenty of interest in him.

Dunno like mate that post about willock and Armstrong was on the 5th of August.

He's had a few things right including Ings to villa.

Do I think anguissa is coming to nufc? No

Evidence that nufc aren't done after willock?

I was wondering where they were with Kamara. Him or Anguissa is the right idea in terms of improving the holding midfield area. Hayden and Shelvey are holding us back due to their quality on the ball (Hayden) and general laziness (Shelvey).

It's very easy to give Bruce no credit, saying he is only plugging the obvious midfield holes. However we've never addressed this area for more than 4 years since Tiote went. Cabaye left 2014ish. Its a joke and is on the club, scouts, managers the lot since then. Everybody can see we've fallen way behind in quality. So I'll give Bruce credit. He may be an archaic football manager, but he seems to be able to pick out the obvious issues, and seems to still have an eye for a decent player. As long as Jones is doing the coaching we may be ok.

Bruce actually has a fair record in terms of spotting a player. Andy Robertson, Harry Maguire etc. Maybe he should just move upstairs and make room for Potter.
