Just read his wiki page, you are correct. I think we can forgive him though for his excellent art criticism:

It is more of a Scottish/football thing. Generally Roman Catholics are fenians. Before you say anything, yes I am aware more than most that fenian is a political movement as opposed to a religious one.

No, I certainly don't call people I don't like, fenians. I call fenians and British and Irish catholics, fenians.

Good evening to you, my fine buddy. I'm very well, thank you. I'm currently camping with my nippers. Tomorrow we are off to Sheringham and Cromer for sea, sand, ice cream, that faux honeycomb stuff, and chips (sod the diabetes). Terrible signal here, so I may go off grid for a while, but just know that I hope you and your best ones are in rude health :emoticon-0150-hands

Glad to hear it, China, I always wonder how you are if you go off grid for a while. Hope you have a good time with the kids and will no doubt see you on here for a quiz soon <ok>

You need to be careful describing Archers Road that way. There will be SNP voters on the streets of Glasgow Southside furious at that comparison. Soon they will have spent all the money they got from the SNP Prestwick airport debacle and have to go and get jobs.

<doh> They are in power, whilst the Loony Party is in total meltdown and the Illib Undems are almost non existent.

But he is the one shagging the brains out of a fit thirty something blonde while you are at home tossing yourself off in front of a poster of Nicola Sturgeon or Diane Abbott.
