When John was Treasurer and I was Asst Treasurer (then Asst Sec - and I did the Programme), I used to collect the books, bank statements etc from him and then produce the Income & Expenditure Statement and the Balance Sheet - then hand them to PwC for audit. Every single penny was accounted for - making my (honorary) ‘job’ easy.
