Exactly mate. Plenty are Pakistani too.

Tried all types, personally think it's the better food.

Some of the South Indian stuff is the worst imo.

In trying to make the point that there’s far more to Indian cuisine than just labelling it curry, she then takes it on a ludicrous tangent and destroys any hope of a sensible debate around differences in Indian regional dishes. This kind of ****e can get in the bin, as even though it’s just one food blogger I’ve never heard of, it’ll be used to further fuel faux culture war nonsense.

I agree mate. What winds me up even more is people like SKY even running stories like this. Sometimes it feels like they are on their own little mission to create division in someway.

It's something that's a part of every day British life, that gets blown out of all proportion. What are you having for dinner/tea tonight, I might do a curry, what you going to make, I'm thinking of making a Keema. What recipe do you use or what ingredients.

Life don't have to be as difficult or argumentative and as devisive as these dicks are trying to make it.

The establishment of the Mughal Empire, in the early 15th century, also influenced some curries, especially in the north. Another influence was the establishment of the Portuguese trading centre in Goa in 1510, resulting in the introduction of chili pepper, tomatoes and potatoes to India from the Americas, as a byproduct of the Columbian Exchange.[16]

Although there is no Indian dish in the Indian subcontinent called curry, the British lumped all sauce-based dishes under the generic name 'Curry'.[4][17] Curry was introduced to English cuisinestarting with Anglo-Indian cooking in the 17th century as spicy sauces were added to plain boiled and cooked meats.[18] The 1758 edition of Hannah Glasse's The Art of Cookery contains a recipe "To make a Currey the India Way".[19] Curry was first served in coffee houses in Britain from 1809, and has been increasingly popular in Great Britain, with major jumps in the 1940s and the 1970s.[20] During the 19th century, curry was also carried to the Caribbean by Indian indentured workers in the British sugar industry. Since the mid-20th century, curries of many national styles have become popular far from their origins, and increasingly become part of international.

Yeah it is, but the difference is, I can see that its a joke and it IS grounded in reality, where as some other people get their titties twisted when they see **** like this.
I bet most of the people "complaining" about the use of the word curry arent even Indian or Pakistani, they are probably rich white ****s from London with an overpriced education and a trust fund.
