He was a time wasting tw*t. AND given a choice I will stick with Burge. Never thought I would say that.

Burge got away with a lot. Would like a replacement but I'm aware that won't happen. If we get defence sorted in front of him burge would do until summer. Not that I like that.

Did ok. Penalty is a lottery. The winner he could have come for but defence didn't help him.settled defence need pre season to get drilled into roles. Proof was there and thankfully Stewart exploited it.

Think they're much of a muchness yesterday tbh. As I've said I don't rate burge but we can go up if we get defence right. We're at least 3 players away though.

much like burge, don't think he had a great deal to do so was not really tested...not sure if burge had a touch of nerves mind but seems to be the way they are coached now, don't try to catch just palm it away, don't spread yourself on a one to one just go on your @rse and stick yer legs out, don't leave your line to come for crosses, shout at your defence if someone manages a shot.

Didn’t really have much to do but was stuck to his line for the goal. Was impressed with him when we played Charlton in April but was less so impressive yesterday, thankfully.

Ben Amos has been ****e to average over his career. He did however have a blinder at the SoL last season for Charlton including a brilliant double save, followed up by Scowens diving header along the floor to pull one back. He pulled off a cracking one handed save when Wyke tried lobbing him when one on one

I think he is a good keeper. He caught what he was expected to catch, distribution was good and he is a decent shot stopper. 10yrs at Man UTD as a kid should stand him in good stead.
Very happy we put 2 past him though. :emoticon-0148-yes:

Didn’t constantly palm the ball out to dangerous areas, so would have him over Burge like a shot.

Amos wasn’t great yesterday and should have done better for Stewart’s goal but I’ve got zero confidence in Burge.

Very fortunate with a couple yesterday and on another day would have cost us points. The shot late on where the ball hit him in the chest and then rebounded back into the penalty area was a very lucky escape.

I’d like us to sign better but I think we will wait until next summer when we have fewer spots to fill. I just hope it doesn’t come back t bite us.

    Really?

A load of my pals couldn’t go. One has COVID, another had a wedding to attend. I know a couple lad who simply cannot afford to go due to family commitments and lower incomes.

I don’t think it’s dreadful at all, I’d never slate someone for not going to the game.
