I think that’s exactly their point, and why they don’t think he will cut it in the PL. If he has been doing that his whole career then it is something that will have to be worked on which might work/might not and will take time Guess we’ll just have to wait and see sounds like he is going to end up in a PL team whether that be Saints or somewhere else
We didn’t seem to have enough shoot on sight players last year so I’m not sure I would be mad. Then tap in specialist Che Adams (as I believe he has been called on Saintsweb) can follow them up I do wonder whether those saying he isn’t good enough are just upset he is going. But he can also play wide so that covers for the winger you mentioned you’d like I’d still be disappointed if we aren’t seriously looking at Delaney. Or someone who can also play the Romeu role is Romeu isn’t fit (or take it off of him)
The rumours are this Broja deal is pretty much done. Which if true has come pretty much out of nowhere like the other Chelsea ones So maybe that is true of the “main” striker target as well.
