N ⬛ i would think that for any player going to a new club it would be important to know a little about the style of play. Ralph is established now, but Viera as a manager has yet to show what he’ll do at Palace. ( Of course I know nothing about the player’s mindset!)
This is a good point. Palace could be after him because he is available and as you say he has no idea how he fits in the system.
The pound is doing well against the euro at present, so £29m/€34m + plus anything down the back of sofas, tracksuit pockets, tartan slacks and bid for Patrik Schick
The club itself isn't being liquidated -- despite being unable to pay players at times last year, Inter isn't in particular danger of going into bankruptcy, as they have had offers to purchase, just not meeting the valuation of the current ownership -- but Inter's about £500m in debt and their owners cannot put any more money in owing to their own financial difficulties, so they're selling everything that isn't nailed down. Adding to their difficulties: a significant portion of their squad is really old and on high wages, so they aren't exactly in high demand.
Surely no point if he has just signed a new deal. I can’t imagine he is ready for the first team edit: A new 5 year deal as well. There would surely be no chance of a purchase if he did well
Just as I thought was the case - they value him at more than they paid despite him not performing in a way that would make that be true so we have walked away. I figured it would be 20m although I think I thought GBP not Euro I am also not surprised that we wanted a loan with an option given his spell at Palace I wonder if some of these clubs that would “prefer to sell” will find themselves agreeing to a loan at the end of the window to save several million pounds / euro from their annual budget. Money seems tight for everyone. Not that we should risk it
