Alli in the book. Stupid foul, but it's a pre-season.
They're not normally given, but the ref is one of the usual twats. Garbage.

This has been as poor as the Chelsea match. We have no control in midfield at all. Even with Romero and the pipe dream of Martinez our centre midfield is so weak

This is awful. 15 minutes of trying to play on the break.
Get Scarlett on for Bergwijn, switch to a 4-2-3-1 and put Son on the left with Moura on the right.

Lacazette wipes out Skipp from behind. Dier points out that Alli was booked for something very similar.
Why are Premier League refs so inconsistent and ****?

Alli off the post. Should put that away.

    So close! Unlucky from Dele.
Sanchez has played very well today with some great balls from the back. I’d love him to come good as he has so much potential

Skipp booked for pulling back Smith-Rowe.
    0-0 HT. Rubbish.
Nobody leading the line, no creativity in midfield and about half the players out of position.

To be fair, you've had the better chances and, although we've got in behind you a lot, I don't feel like we've tested you enough. We still lack quality in the final 3rd. Whatever chances we've had have been from wide areas or defensive errors. We still need more creativity from central areas.

I also think you've looked threatening when you have ran at us/countered us especially as Tierney and Bellerin are pushing quite high when we have the ball.

Generally though, I don't feel like we've done enough considering we've dominated the ball.

Sanchez has been good, aside from one dangerous giveaway. Lucas has had a number of bright moments and Son had one excellent pass. But overall, oof.

Other clubs have realized it's easy to take the ball from Dele, since his first move is always to stop. Bergwijn has given the ball away a number of times on the break by trying passes that weren't on when all he needed to do was to keep dribbling (edit) and again. The players have neither been able to handle pressure nor apply it. In their own end, they've mixed decent-ish defending with hoofing the ball anywhere...which has resulted in very long spells of Arsenal possession.

I agree Scarlett should come on, at least. This 4-3-3 with Bergwijn on the right and Lucas on the left looks even feebler than last week's version with them swapped.

Michael Dawson being interviewed at half time. What a bloody top bloke. Wish there were more like him playing for the club now

Tierney booked for a relatively innocuous one, even if it was cynical. Not necessary.
Xhaka booked for a nasty one. Should be off, just for being a dangerous liability at all times. ****er.

Hojbjerg overreacting because Arteta had one foot out of his technical area. Think it's your player who needs to cool down.

Mari holds back Alli after getting nutmegged, as the ball goes into a dangerous area.
Not sure how that's not a booking, given what he's been dishing out.
Hit the post again from the free-kick. <doh>

We hit the woodwork do much.
Think it was 24 or 25 times last season alone.

He was standing outside! Although most managers do it so was a bit of a drama over nothing

Nice move. Reguilon just drags his shot wide, but it was a decent break.

White replaced by Chambers, Aubameyang off for Saka and Bellerin switched for Maitland-Niles.
Their shape will probably make more sense now, though their best centre-half has gone off.

Skipp has been much better this second half. Previously I’ve not been convinced that he is going to be good enough for us but he has definitely been more promising this half
