thought you might be interested as it's a relatively short series, super arty and has a lot of themes (something i don't normally get). The sort of thing universities do disserations on also on netflix. fair enough though
Saw Akira available on Prime the other day. Proper old skool and the original anime. Haven't seen it in decades. I was so tempted but you can't just stick it on it's so intense, you have to give it the proper attention.
Just finished watching season 1 of See. Pretty decent, little weird but weird can also be good. Some good fight scenes, even though the actors are acting as blind people it makes you realise how the other senses become heightened when you lose your sight. Solid 7.5/10 for me. Think season 2 is out soon so I’ll look forward to that.
Fear Street (netflix) Third part is ****e but parts 1 and 2 are pretty solid. Worth a go if you're a fan of slasher horrors.
Watched Prometheus and Covenant last night 7.2/10 enjoyable and both films lifted by Fassbenders performance.
Quite like them both tbh. Just saw this How mnay times they gonna rinse the same fukin story ffs loool its like a british ganster version of fast and furious ffs. Deffo one of comms favourite films
I enjoyed ID years ago but didn't think much of Green Street, it's a boring premise for a film imo glorifying football knobheads.
Green street is ****e, i didnt mind football factory tho, ID was good as fsr as i remember. Brit gansgter flicks are so fukin cringe tho, the business, layer cake, all that ****. Lockstock and snatch get away with it cos theyre more a parody of a gansgter flick rather than trying to be edgy and real.
That’s like the fourth or fifth one now ain’t it? ****ing mad. Original was a good, gritty watch though to be fair.
