While I think, Ell, your last two posts have been tongue in cheek you really have captured Leeds twitter perfectly.

Good workout for the lads tonight.

Cooper grew into the game and now definitely starts next week....Philips coasted through 45 mins and will surely play as well.

Raphina, Harrison, Rodrigo & Bamford all up to speed.

Shame about Llorente and Junior being out but their time will come.

Woah, Woah, Woah that is far too a level headed summing up. You've not slagged anyone off and predicted relegation.

I believe Junior wasn't started as a precaution and should be starting next Saturday.

Might not be a bad match for him to miss though if he can't make it. He can then make his debut the following week at a packed ER and fall in love with all us northerners :emoticon-0140-rofl:

According to player ratings Tyler Roberts scored lowest with 6 everyone else 6.5, 7, a couple on 7.5 and both Cooper and Bamford 8.
Much better than the 3 to 6s we scored against Ajax

This might be a pin out of the grenade question for a Saturday night but if Roberts put in a 6 or of 10 performance every match either as a starter or a sub would you all be happy?

I’ll be travelling back from a truly red hot Spain on game day so will miss most if not all the match

No because he wants to play as a number 10 and if you underperform in that position the whole team suffers. Turnovers in possession cost us so many goals last season especially around the half way line. Any player in that link role has to be top class or you rightly get hooked.

Roberts has the ability but now he needs to show it everytime he takes the field.

I didn’t see the game mate…. I said in another post this squad finishing 10th would be a superb result. I’d hoped we would strengthen a bit more, so far we’re basically hoping Firpo swiftly settles in. I’ll enjoy the season as long as we avoid a dog fight at the bottom

Well Meslier, Cooper, Harrison, Raphinha, Rodrigo, Klich, Dallas, Phillips and Bamford all put in a shift tonight. Not bad that having 9 good performances in a friendly where players were getting replaced/rotated. We got to be happier than were were last weekend and midweek.

The coming week is going to hopefully see Junior and Llorente back or in the case of Llorente at least on the bench
