In the end a fully fit and in form ox is still a largely anonymous figure.

I like keita but again when fully fit. I think he is good as press and interceptions and has bag and bags of skills. The issue is fitness isrubbish but also we've seen questions on attitude. Head dropped last season and I don't think a lot of what we saw in his absences was fitness.

In the end when the season starts will these two vanish? If so they are massive issues due to wage and being now fully fit but still on use it certainly begs the question what the hell we are doing strategy wide.

A 35 year old is our main reserve for midfield

Chelsea break ffp and buy lukaku.

    Third choice.

    Messi also being chased.

Haaland is for next year and then werner, havertz, ziyech will all be shown the door. Pulisic is already forgotten

Players go to Chelsea for big money and easy medals. They have short time at the top and a long career after.

Trophy cabinet isn't empty is it?

That's all that matters to abramovich. He chews up.players and managers alike.

He is after city again here and must have been delighted his beheading of fat Frank worked so well.

I am pretty sure if he was at the cl final he would have said Thomas who?

They were willing to include Werner in the Lukaku deal at one point.

What a great decision he made last summer.

Can't see how PSG could claim to pass ffp with Neymar, Messi, Ramos and Mbappe on the wage bill. Not to mention Di Maria, Donnarumma, Herrera, Icardi, Marquinhos, Draxler and Gini who must all be on fairly hefty contracts.

It's pathetic. The French league is worth **** all in terms of TV money.
They posted losses of over £120m for 2020 (and thats what they declared, I am sure in reality it was much worse), what with Covid too and now they are going to add Messi to their wage bill.
Their dodgy as **** sponsorship deals are all thats keeping them from being shafted big time under FFP rules.

Chelsea posted profits of £32m in 2020. That may not exactly be true, but even if it isnt, its a lot better than the £120m losses both PSG and City posted.
God knows what Barca posted, I havent checked

My take on transfers is I'd rather buy the right player than just any player. it is how ended up with players like Jovanovich & Kronkamp.

One thing I have noted is many people have chosen to use last season as the reference rather than the exception. We survived through the injuries and the players were hurt by the final outcome. We are well rested and have had a solid pre season. Even if we don't sign any player, I trust our team. Our first 11 is world class back to front. The issue is in the replacements in the event of injuries esp in midfield . I do think we will do some business and player sales is what is holding back the purchases to free up space for non HG quota.
