There is not another team in the land who would be selling 25k season tickets and well north of 30k for their 4th season in the 3rd tier. I include the Mags and Leeds on that, the only other 2 with a hope in hell of those numbers. I’m gonna be quite emotional when the lads walk out and the roar goes up and I guarantee i won’t be alone.

First game of the new season, always exciting no matter what league we are in and I wish I was there with you lot. I can imagine the thrill of seeing all the fans as you cross the bridge coming in from the town. I always used to walk to Roker Park when I lived on Cleveland Road and when I moved out to durham 30 years ago I'd always park in the town and walk across the bridge.
