Huddlestone could be very useful in this respect.

In fairness he was like myself he didn’t call for many signings. Personally I’d have gone into this season with the squad that finished last season. A team full of confidence and momentum.

 

Injuries aside, id expect us to line up tomorrow with more or less the team that played last season. Wilks may not be ready to start, Emmanuel for Elder, Moncur for Honeyman. Only un-forced change might be Smith for Smallwood if the registration is done on time - but suspect it may be Smallwood anyway.

 

I’m utterly confused by these new squad rules. Not a scooby tbh.

Have we signed messi?

 

Wilks has been declared fit.

 

Might be fit enough to be in the squad but not start? Hasn't kicked a ball in the friendlies.

Physically fit is not the same as match-fit.

Obvs I hope he is capable of starting.

That assumes that Hull City call the transfer shots. There's a few factors involved, only one of which is Hull City's decisions.
This has been made clear so many times, but some will believe its only because Hull City haven't got their act together.

 

How come Peterborough and Blackpool don't have these problems? Did they turn down the loan or pay it back?

 

Have they signed significantly more than we have?

There's no real suggestion we'd be paying fees regardless of the restrictions - and we have signed frees and loans anyway.

 

Everyone's confused by the squad rules, that's why we've got about 50 pages of contradictory opinions!

 

That includes the EFL who just seem to make.it up depending on which club it is and what day of the week it is

Neither Peterborough or Blackpool have paid a fee according to this.

Both made plenty of signing though.

 

Peterboro have 8 by my count. Blackpool have signed a few youngsters but their marquee signing seems to be Bowler on a free who i doubt we'd be interested in.

I'd say our business was comparable.

 

Flores out on a free, Arthur out on loan, Smith incoming but not yet announced.
Space in the squad now to sign Huddlestone

 

Whose decision was it to take out a loan from the EFL without understanding the terms first?
