In your house?Same - although I don’t wear one outside - only inside.

In your house?

Was that out of your window again.
I did see a chap walking up the road on his own yesterday wearing a mask AND one of those plastic visor shields!!!!
Talk about wearing a condom to bed when sleeping alone……![]()

There will be people wearing space suits next, it's gone ridiculous IMO, but hey, even if it makes no difference whatsoever, it's their choice

It took 25 years for a chicken pox vaccine to be developed.
The smallpox inoculation was discovered in 1796 the last known natural case was in 1977.
We have a flu vaccine that is only 40 to 60% effective and less than half of the US population choose to get one, and roughly 20,000 Americans will die of the flu or flu complications.
Do you really think people will flock to get a fast tracked, quickly tested vaccine, whose long term side effects and overall efficacy are anyone's best guess?
I understand Covid can be deadly or very dangerous for SOME people, but so are strawberries and so is shellfish.
We take risks multiple times a day without a second thought.
We know driving a car can be dangerous, we don't leave it in the garage. Many speed and don't wear seat belts.
We know the dangers of smoking, drinking and eating fried foods, we do it anyway.
Is hugging Grandma really more dangerous than rush hour on the freeway?
Is going out with friends after work more risky than 4 day old gas station sushi?
Or operating a chainsaw?
. Please link me to an article where strawberries have killed 4.2m people worldwide. And I'd far rather my grandparents drove on the motorway (if they were about!) than hug me if I had a potentially fatal disease. Which for 2 weeks last year I genuinely did. When and how did we so quickly lose our free will and give up our liberty?
Is there a waiver somewhere I can sign that says, "I understand the risks, but I choose a life with Hugs and Smiles, and the State Fair and go to Church and go hug my Mom in her retirement home?
I understand that there is a minuscule possibility I could die, but I will most likely end up feeling like crap for a few days.
I understand I could possibly pass it to someone else, if I'm not careful, but I can pass any virus onto someone else.
IMO still all been blown out of all proportion, by the scaremongers and main stream media alike...and those that are soaking it all in..(obsessed).Riddled with inaccuracies and misleading info but I assume it's from Facebook so there you go!
It began development in the early 1970's. Once science learns, surely you wouldn't expect a vaccine for Coronavirus to take the exact same amount of time? Besides, multiple sources will show that the groundwork for our current vaccines began in the 2000's, it did not take just 1 year to make these vaccines.
There is no comparison with flu. Covid is both more contagious than flu and more deadly than flu. You cannot treat both the same.
Just because it hasn't affected you (presumably), doesn't mean it won't or can't, and it doesn't mean it hasn't affected lots of people you know and interact with.
The vast, vast majority of vaccine side effects (for all illnesses) show up in the days and weeks following taking it. Not years down the line.
Sorry to be blunt but this is one of the most stupid things I've ever read. Please link me to an article where strawberries have killed 4.2m people worldwide. And I'd far rather my grandparents drove on the motorway (if they were about!) than hug me if I had a potentially fatal disease. Which for 2 weeks last year I genuinely did.
You can change that to, 'I choose a life with hugs and smiles, where I hug my Mum in her retirement home, and where I'm extremely selfish and put every single person I come in contact with at risk'.
That's what everybody thinks. Then they're on a ventilator gasping for breath.

Not only that, but 153,000 deaths out of an adult population of what, 55,000,000? is absolutely not minuscule. I myself know 2 people who have died from it. It is not minuscule in any way.
But most of these viruses aren't likely to facking kill them mate!
is 500 deaths a week a welcome down? ……….. or to high. [ in excess of 25,00 per annum ]and death rate seems to be down
this is a bit repetitive … we all know being jabbed does not potentially stop us from spreading it. But reduces substantially the risk of doing so. Anyone who touch's an infected area is liable, wearing a mask doesn't actually mean you wont catch it. Being jabbed means you have / the body has a register of that virus type and can readily produce more anti bodies quickly.I'm saying that the Jab does not stop you from spreading it

I had chicken pox in the 50's & both measles treatment was calamine lotion keeping skin cool and not to scratch [ if you didnt bite your nails they were cut right back ] …. you had it! well everyone who didn't was introduced to you!!!!! no isolation, whilst no school, after school still had friends around!!!!!It began development in the early 1970's.
this is very true ...harbinger of suffering!doesn't mean it won't or can't, and it doesn't mean it hasn't affected lots of people you know and interact with.

150k with not of..Only because you're choosing to believe that. There is no scientific analysis and no numbers to back up your point of view, you're just choosing to have that view rather than basing it on any fact. That's fine, but it's killed nearly 150k people here, 2 people that I'm related to, and that's with controls. I dread to think how many would have died without them.
But you keeping on telling us that it's blown out of proportion, that it isn't as bad as we think, that it's not really 150k people that have died. It's never based on anything other than what you want to believe. So I'm quite glad that most people aren't taking that daft point of view tbh. The scientists probably know what they're talking about.
2 people that you are related to.......since this pandemic started, I know of at least 5 people that have died distant family & friends ranging from Heart. COPD and 3 from cancer..
150k with not of..
I believe this all has a time limit when eventually, people will say bollocks to it, we need to learn to live with it rather than worrying about dying from it.....
1. But you can still die from them, millions do. also from so many other things!!Yes mate. But you can't catch COPD or cancer. Staying in doesn't stop you spreading cancer. That's the point.
Honestly mate the only people holding us up from reaching that point now are you anti-vax lot.
Has that person been jabbed do you know??Well pi$$ed off, someone at work today tested positive for COVID, so now I have to isolate, so can't go the Blackpool gameGutted, my daughter and I were looking forward to it. It's the one day of the season we have hope and optimism..
Now this we agree on!!
I might be wrong, but with the app & passport, information to everywhere we go, what we see and if RP gets his way we might as well all have a chip inserted to know our every movement.
Yes but you have choices, you can turn off your location on your phone, or turn phone off altogether..not sure about following you about when using credit or debit cards, most purchases done online nowadays..I’ve obviously been watching this thread and commented on a couple of occasions, but an “underlying” theme put forward by some as a issue is the apparent control of the masses ie “we might as well have a chip inserted to know our every movement”
This seems quite strange to me!!
The reason for my comment is that the vast majority of the populace now have mobile phones and pay for things daily by debit/credit card. Anyone who has ever watched one episode of “Hunted” will know that the security services/government can track you wherever you have been should they want to!! Also, with some high profile crime cases, the media subsequently reports on the movement of the accused proving their whereabouts in relation to the alleged offence by these means!
I really don’t think there is a need for a specific chip to be inserted into any individuals!!
Yes but you have choices, you can turn off your location on your phone, or turn phone off altogether..not sure about following you about when using credit or debit cards, most purchases done online nowadays..
plus I think that’s only allowed with a warrant if and when you do anything seriously illegal..
Not sure many people would be overly happy with the knowledge that our movements are all monitored for everyone to see!! Although of course some love being controlled!!!
