Don’t forget though, that Hiag also subscribed to all sorts of debunked theories. He followed some crackpot gardener turned have-a-go part time astrophysicist who thought the planet used to have a 1/3 of its gravity which explained why pterodactyls could fly. And that moon craters were caused by lightening strikes.
All of this was debated with him on here and he just doubled down and started dishing out the insults when folk told him that it made no scientific sense.
It didn’t surprise me one bit when he started coming out with his pro Trump anti lockdown and anti vax nonsense as he was already buried down that rabbit hole.
At the end of the day, he was misinformed and arrogant with it. The irony of being told to wake up and stop blindly accepting lies has been tragically played out in his case

I'm glad his missus has come out and spoken to the press about it all though.
His decision making cost him his life and nearly cost hers too. The **** that family have been though is utterly tragic, mainly due to the fact that it was all avoidable.
There are still folk out there who think like HIAG, so hopefully her message will resonate with a few who still think they are immune and can avoid this sort of tragedy for their families.
I've already had to ban a guy from another club board for spreading conspiracy theories. Said he was going to ruin the site as a result, that went well for him as well.
At least we just learn to ignore Aber on here.

I've got nothing against people holding conspiracy theory views per se, we all know that Govts and Corporations get up to all sorts of shady **** behind the scenes, but most of what gets exposed is done through rigorous investigative journalism, not by some paranoid redneck watching yootoob vids.
Where I do have a problem though, is when dangerous opinion about Covid is passed off as fact to gullible saps, which then puts them and others in danger. HIAG isn't the first and won't be the last to die from believing misinformation
